Payment references now possible for all credit transfers
Published on:
During 2018, all banks will allow the Dutch payment reference to be used not only for Acceptgiro forms but also for standard European credit transfers.
Banks are also making another change:
Payers will be able to include an international ISO payment reference with a standard European credit transfer, or SEPA Credit Transfer (SCT). Banks will verify that the ISO payment reference is correct.
Internationally, ISO payment references are increasingly used on invoices.
