iDEAL, credit cards and PayPal increasingly replace traditional online payment methods

The use of credit cards and PayPal also increased. Growth in the use of these payment methods came at the expense of more traditional methods, such as payment authorisations and Acceptgiro. This was shown by figures from the eCommerce Payment Monitor, a study of payment methods in the Netherlands conducted by GfK in collaboration with iDEAL and Thuiswinkel.org.
