Gijs Boudewijn elected Vice-Chair of European Card Payments Association

During the election of the new board of the European Card Payments Association (ECPA) on 15 October, Gijs Boudewijn was elected Vice-Chair. Boudewijn is Deputy Managing Director of the Dutch Payments Association.
The ECPA’s Chair for the next two years is Juan Carlos Martín-Guirado of Spain’s STMP, Sistema de Tarjetas y Medios de Pago.
The ECPA is a non-profit association established in 2014 that promotes a single European market for card payments, or “SEPA for cards”. Its prominent members include Belgium’s Bancontact Payconiq, France’s Cartes Bancaires and the Dutch Payments Association.
