First Geldmaat ATM unveiled in Soest
Today, Geldmaat, ABN AMRO, ING and Rabobank are unveiling the first Geldmaat ATM at the Overhees shopping centre in Soest. This marks the start of the transfer of the three banks’ ATMs to Geldmaat, the organisation responsible for the provision of cash in the Netherlands.

Geldmaat ATMs can be recognised by their yellow colour and logo and will gradually become a familiar sight on Dutch streets during 2019 and 2020.

In recent years, Geldmaat and the three banks have worked with public-interest organisations—including the Dutch Consumers’ Association, the Eye Association and organisations representing senior citizens—to develop a vision for keeping cash accessible and available in the Netherlands.
