DNB presents ‘Payments Strategy’ until 2028

In its latest ‘Payments Strategy’ the Dutch National Bank (DNB) explains how it intends to keep payments safe, accessible, and future-proof for everyone over the next three years.

In its strategy, the Dutch central bank focuses, among other things, on greater European autonomy and stronger resilience in payments, with more choice in digital payment methods developed in Europe. A second pillar of this strategy is promoting innovation in the payments market.
