SEPA implementation guidelines
SEPA uses file formats based on the ISO 20022 XML standard.
All financial institutions and companies in SEPA countries must use the same standards for submitting European credit transfers and European direct debits. The EPC and Dutch banks have developed various documents for this purpose.
Any bank-specific information is usually described in a bank-specific document.
Below is an overview of the relevant and available information for each scheme, based on European and Dutch SEPA Implementation Guidelines (in Dutch).

Reporting of SEPA transactions
The EPC does not have a rulebook for account statement information. However, there are Dutch XML implementation guidelines for CAMT.053. These are:
- XML message for Bank-to-Customer Statement v1.1 (CAMT.053)
- XML Message for Bank-to-Customer Statement v2.0
Version 2.0 is more in line with the CGI Guidelines and recommendations of the EPC regarding PSP-to-Customer Reporting .
