Payments Association roadmap updated for new European payments developments
Payments Association Netherlands has updated its roadmap for the next three years for the numerous future developments in European payments. Also, the Accessible Banking programme we are implementing together with the Dutch Banking Association is now explicitly included in our roadmap. We also pay more attention to developments around the cash euro, a possible digital euro and crypto-currencies.

In general, the Payments Association focuses on the efficiency, safety, reliability and accessibility of the collective payment system in the Netherlands. The roadmap sets out our course through 2026, with the main current themes and key points based on the joint insights and expectations of the Payments Association and its members.
