Much more spent around Black Friday

Consumers in the Netherlands spent much more around Black Friday than during the same shopping days last year.

The strongest increase in the number of debit card payments at points of sale occurred on Sunday, 26 November: 13.5 per cent more than on the comparable Sunday in 2016.
