Gijs Boudewijn to become president of European Payments Council

On 18 December 2024, the General Assembly of the European Payments Council (EPC) elected Gijs Boudewijn as its new president for a two-year term starting 11 June 2025. This allows for a proper handover by the current president, Javier Santamaría. On 1 June 2025, Gijs Boudewijn will retire as director of Betaalvereniging Nederland.
