Currence’s online brands grow strongly thanks to secure rules and standards
Published on:
Currence’s online brands – iDEAL, iDIN and the Digital Mandate Service – performed well in 2017, thanks in part to the secure standards and consistent product features of these services. The number of payments made with iDEAL increased considerably faster than in each of the previous five years, rising by 33.8 per cent. Online identification and login with iDIN on the websites of companies and institutions has now been used one million times. The Digital Mandate Service (in Dutch) was used to issue 280,000 recognised online mandates in 2017. These figures come from Currence’s 2017 annual report (in Dutch) . Currence is the product and brand owner of these online services.
