Single Euro Payments Area. The entire EU plus 14 other European countries where, thanks to IBAN account numbers, a euro payment to or from another SEPA country is just as quick and easy as a domestic payment, for the same cost. SEPA countries outside the EU (and outside the eurozone) include the UK, Norway, Switzerland, and Iceland.
