The Dutch Payments Association brings together payment service providers operating in the Dutch market. Together with our members, we work to create a reliable, secure, accessible, and efficient payment ecosystem in the Netherlands. By working together, we shape the payments of today and tomorrow.
Why become a member
As a member of the Dutch Payments Association, you are part of the core of the Dutch payment ecosystem. You work together with other payment service providers to ensure that payments function properly and contribute to solutions that are important to consumers, businesses, and society as a whole.

Who is membership for?
Membership is open to payment service providers licensed in Europe that are active in the Netherlands, including:
- banks
- payment institutions
- electronic money institutions
Other parties within the payment ecosystem and stakeholders are not members, but are actively involved through consultation structures.
Involvement and cooperation
Members are expected to be involved in the association’s objectives. The degree of involvement varies per member. Thanks to the Dutch Payments Association’s office, activities and results are also supported by professional capacity, so that participation remains feasible for all members.
