Decision on Cash Payments
This decision sets out detailed rules regarding access to cash and the continuity of cash transport. For example, it includes requirements for ATM infrastructure and maximum fees for withdrawals and deposits. This further elaborates on the Cash Payments Act. These rules are intended to ensure that cash remains accessible, available, and affordable. As a result, citizens and businesses can continue to use cash. This way, everyone can continue to pay as they wish, and there is a fallback option in case of card payments failures.

Implementation decision on the revised Consumer Credit Directive
The decision sets out rules for offering consumer credit. These include rules on when a credit provider must check a customer’s financial information before granting consumer credit and when a credit provider must consult the Credit Registration Office (BKR) register before granting credit to a consumer. These rules are intended to protect consumers. The rules on registering credit in the BKR are not covered by this implementation. The starting point of the bill and the decision to implement the revised Consumer Credit Directive (CCDII) is that the current situation regarding BKR registrations will remain unchanged.
