Stakeholder Forum
The Stakeholder Forum is a periodic meeting organized by the Dutch Payments Association for representatives from the financial sector, retail, government, and other stakeholders in Dutch payments. Our Stakeholder Forum focuses primarily on developments in account-to-account and point-of-sale payments.
What do we discuss in the forum?
The Dutch Payments Association organizes the Stakeholder Forum at least twice a year. These meetings focus on current developments in the Dutch payments landscape, such as new rules and regulation, technological innovations, changing consumer behavior, and European initiatives.
The program consists of a plenary session with inspiring presentations by experts, followed by two simultaneous interactive sessions focused on account-to-account payments on the one hand and point-os-sale payments on the other. Afterwards, there is an opportunity to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and network with colleagues from the sector during drinks.

The Stakeholder Forum is for representatives of, among others:
- Consumer organizations
- Trade organizations
- Government institutions
- Umbrella organizations and interest groups
- Large invoice collectors
- Banks, transaction processors, and other parties in the payments infrastructure
