iDEAL QR pilots expanded to more payment situations

Payments with iDEAL QR codes (in Dutch) became possible in a growing number of payment situations during the summer holiday period. For the iDEAL QR pilot, the Dutch Payments Association entered into partnerships with new providers.

Payment service providers including CM Payments , Carian , TicketFlow and MultiSafepay are making it increasingly easy for businesses to offer iDEAL QR as a payment method at the point of sale, on posters, stickers or screens, and on invoices and receipts.

The iDEAL website explains how iDEAL QR works (in Dutch) in a short video. It also allows users to try a one-euro-cent test payment with an iDEAL QR code and experience how easy it is.
