Lex Hoogduin appointed chair of Dutch Payments Association

Lex Hoogduin was appointed the new chair of the Dutch Payments Association’s Board on 15 November 2017. He succeeds Henk Brouwer, who has stepped down as a Board member. Earlier this year, Karin Kersten of ABN AMRO stepped down from the Board. She is succeeded by her colleague Anne Marie Magis.


Lex Hoogduin was a director at De Nederlandsche Bank until mid-2011. He is now, among other roles, a professor at the University of Groningen, chair of LCH Group and Non-Executive Director at London Stock Exchange Group. At DNB, Lex Hoogduin was responsible for payments, among other things, and chaired the National Forum on the Payment System. Anne Marie Magis is Managing Director Digitalisation Commercial Banking at ABN AMRO.
