Debit Card Acceptance project
Published on:
Led by the Dutch Payments Association, Mastercard, Visa, banks and payment institutions have launched a project to coordinate the widespread acceptance of Debit Mastercard and Visa Debit in the Netherlands.

Shops where customers can currently pay only with Maestro or V PAY debit cards must ensure over the coming year that their customers can also pay with Visa Debit and Debit Mastercard. Their bank or debit card payment service provider will contact them about the required changes.
