Scammers and fraudsters are sending fraudulent letters that purport to come from the Dutch Payments Association. They use these letters to trick recipients into disclosing personal or banking details and making payments. Fraudulent emails that appear to come from the Dutch Payments Association or other official organisations may also contain fake web addresses and attachments containing malware or computer viruses.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Dutch Payments Association never sends unsolicited<\/strong> emails or letters to consumers or bank customers. We have no access to bank customers\u2019 personal or banking details<\/strong>. If you receive an email or letter from the Dutch Payments Association without having contacted us yourself shortly beforehand, it is fraudulent.
