It focuses on cash, accessibility of payment services, efficiency, safety and reliability and European developments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>The MOB annual report also looks to the future, for instance at the possible future introduction of a digital euro. In this regard, the MOB states that it is not yet possible to assess whether a digital euro can provide social added value for the Dutch payment system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>The Payments Association closely follows developments around the digital euro and we participate on behalf of our members in important consultation groups at national and international level.
