This is possible for children up to 12 years of age and for senior citizens from 65 years of age. To get that age discount, travellers must first register a payment card in OVpay&#8217;s mobile app, where they can then link their age discount to that payment card. Some transport companies have already allowed you to link other discount products to a debit card for some time, such as GVB Flex in Amsterdam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-geen-leeftijdskorting-in-de-trein\">No age discount on the train<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>With railway companies like NS, you cannot travel with age discounts, even with an OV-chip card. NS does have age-related discount products for which travellers have to pay a periodic fixed amount.
