The number of transactions increased by more than 21% to a total value of \u20ac10.8 billion. This is shown in Currence\u2019s annual report. The annual figures also show that Chipknip use fell significantly compared with 2012, by 18%. In addition, the Dutch direct debit was replaced by the European direct debit.
