Buyers scan a secure iDEAL QR code with the iDEAL app, recognisable by the iDEAL logo in the centre, and pay using their own bank\u2019s familiar mobile app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-handige-mobiele-betaalapps\">Convenient mobile payment apps<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks to iDEAL, individuals can also pay each other reliably using <a href=\"https:\/\/tikkie.me\/\">ABN AMRO\u2019s Tikkie <span class=\"icon inline-block ml-1 w-[0.875em]\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><svg aria-hidden=\"true\" xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\" fill=\"#000000\" viewBox=\"0 0 256 256\"><path d=\"M228,104a12,12,0,0,1-24,0V69l-59.51,59.51a12,12,0,0,1-17-17L187,52H152a12,12,0,0,1,0-24h64a12,12,0,0,1,12,12Zm-44,24a12,12,0,0,0-12,12v64H52V84h64a12,12,0,0,0,0-24H48A20,20,0,0,0,28,80V208a20,20,0,0,0,20,20H176a20,20,0,0,0,20-20V140A12,12,0,0,0,184,128Z\"><\/path><\/svg><\/span><\/a> and Rabobank\u2019s Ipayou. Tikkie lets users send someone a payment request through WhatsApp. The payer does not need to use Tikkie and can pay through an iDEAL link. Ipayou lets users pay to a mobile number. The beneficiary receives an SMS about the payment and does not need to use the app. Both apps can also be used by customers of banks other than ABN AMRO and Rabobank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sowdan recently launched a mobile payment app that uses iDEAL to make quick payments or send payment requests. Buyers receive the payment request by email, SMS, WhatsApp or iMessage and complete the payment using their own bank\u2019s mobile app, even if they use a bank other than ING or bunq.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All these payment apps are convenient and secure, allowing people to buy and sell at street markets without carrying cash.
