EPI completes acquisition of iDEAL

Currence iDEAL announced on 31 October that the acquisition by EPI (European Payments Initiative ) had been successfully completed.
From 2025, the Dutch online payment method iDEAL will gradually be replaced by EPI’s European Wero . “I believe their expertise and experience [particularly that of Currence iDEAL, ed.] will be highly valuable to the success of EPI and the Wero payment solution,” says Martina Weimert, CEO of EPI, in a press release.
